2016 Finisher’s awards and more! January 23, 2017January 23, 2017 by John Beck My 2016 finisher’s awards (and some earned ones). Most of 2016 was spent recovering from a serious knee injury. It wasn’t till late September that I started feeling up to speed again. 2016 was fun, I was decent enough to get some pretty sweet awards and win a couple age groups but also got my 1st DNF. Received 2 jackets, a metal camp cup, a beautiful glass, a German cookie (lebkuchen), a belt buckle, a coin and a bunch of medals (the coolest being the one from the Baltimore Marathon). I’ve got some big goals for 2017.
