It started off entirely too hot but luckily I had a huge amount of friends show up and share some miles with me or just cheer me on. As the weather cooled my pace was a lot better. As I approached the “finish line” all of my neighbors were outside of their houses clapping and cheering for me. It was an experience I’ll never forget.
