This short film was intended to be the first in a trilogy created for the summer *Late Night Series*, a weekly live variety show (monthly over the summer); however, the subsequent two films were never produced. Designed as an audience participation piece, the film was shaped by live input from attendees, who provided four key elements:
– Character/Occupation: Phil, a roller skate repair technician
– Prop: A duck on a string
– Line of Dialogue: “Fuck you, I’m going to Guam.”
– Film Genre: *Film noir*
With these elements as the foundation, the script was conceived, filmed, and scored within the span of four nights. The completed short premiered at the *Late Night Series*, where it was screened before a live audience.
