14 races. 405 race miles. 3 PRs. 5 AG awards.\u2028\u2028I started the year off very strong then mid April I developed a hip injury that stuck with me for the rest of the year. The injury slowed me down but I finished with another yearly mileage PR by almost 100 miles. I only ran in four races, 305.3 total race miles. A lot lower than in past years and didn\u2019t get in any miles the last three weeks of the year due to an injury but I\u2019m feeling better and the pace has improved. Most importantly I\u2019ve volunteered and crewed at a few events this year and in turn helped dozens and dozens of folks reach their personal records and more. I\u2019ve also attended more events and not only cheered on my friends but also motivated others. This was my 9th year and I finished with 204 miles. Far from a PR but better than I expected. I slept 6ish hours every night, sat around and spectated while avoiding the heat and sun every day and generally socialized instead of running.
