Summary: Two back-to-back episodes of the beloved Bean series find Rowan Atkinson's strange boy-man having his fun cramped at a fair because he has to take care of a needy baby, then taking advantage of "January sales" to spruce up his apartment with a new piece of furniture and a gallon of paint. The former is one of the most ambitious chapters from the Bean chronicles but, alas, not among the funniest. The latter, however, has that old, meandering Bean magic. --Tom Keogh
